Use of Gift Cards

How can I get my gift card?

After purchasing Benicci e-gift card, you receive an email that contains a digital gift card with a unique 16-digit code that you can use at checkout to redeem its value.

When I'll get my gift card?

The gift card will be sent immediately to your e-mail after the purchase.

How can I redeem the e-gift card?

Received unique 16-digit code can be entered at the checkout on benicci.com. Once the code is entered, the gift card value will be applied to the order total. If the order exceeds the value of the gift card, you can pay the remaining balance using another payment method.

Can I buy gift cards for someone else?

Yes, you can buy a e-gift card and send it as a gift with a custom message to someone else. Just mark the checkbox "I want to send this as a gift" on Benicci's gift card product page just above "Add to cart" button. You'll need to fill the following recipient fields: recipient email, name (optional), and custom message (optional). Then, your can choose to schedule the gift card and send it at a specific date, or send the gift card product immediately after the purchase. Scheduled gift cards are sent approximately between 4 am and 10 am of the customer's timezone, and fallback to the store's timezone.

A personalized email that contains the custom message and a gift card code is sent to the recipient. You receive a notification that contains the gift card code, and confirms that the gift card was sent to the recipient.

Can a gift card be used more than once?

Yes, provided there is still a balance remaining on the card.

Can more than one gift card be used towards a purchase?

Yes. A customer can redeem another gift card during checkout.

Can a gift card be used to buy a gift card?

No, you can't use a gift card to buy another gift card.

Can a gift card be used to pay for shipping and taxes?

Yes, gift cards are applied to the final order total which includes shipping and taxes.

How can I check card's balance?

Customers can check their balance on the gift card page from their order confirmation email. Alternatively, our customer support can check the balance and send the information to the customer. Please, contact us via care@benicci.com

 

Loss or theft of the Gift Card

How can I access gift cards which were misplaced or never received?

Customers can click Resend gift cards from their order confirmation email. This link will only work if the order has been fulfilled. If a gift card is lost or stolen, it will not be refunded by Benicci. If you require any assistance, you can contact our customer service.

 

Validity period

How long is the card valid?

The Benicci e-gift card is valid for five years from the date of receipt of the purchase confirmation e-mail.

 

Refund and Exchange

Can I apply a refund to a gift card?

Yes. If you used a gift card to pay for the purchase and then wants to return the item for a refund, we can apply the refund to the gift card, and its balance is updated automatically. Then you can create another order using the same gift card (until the card expiration date).

For example:
Suppose customer A bought a Gift card for Customer B. And customer B orders a product for himself. Order by customer B is refundable. He gets the money back to his Gift card. But order by Customer A is non refundable.
